What we do
From the roof structure to the final finishes, we provide skilled carpentry and roofing at every stage of a build, working alongside main contractors or directly with homeowners in Clare, Limerick, Galway and throughout Ireland.
Traditional cut roof construction, set out and built on site to suit the design – including hips, valleys, dormers and complex roof layouts.
Timber frame houses and structural carpentry, including wall panels, floor joists, partitions and roof structures, built accurately and to specification.
Natural and fibre-cement slate roofs, finished with neatly detailed ridges, hips and valleys, and leadwork carried out as part of the slating package.
Internal joinery and finishing, including doors, skirting, architraves, stairs and kitchen fitting, completed to a clean, consistent standard.
Whether it is a single roof or a full development, we are happy to review drawings and provide a clear, detailed quotation.
About us
Fox Carpentry and Roofing is led by Billy Fox, a second-generation carpenter who learned the trade from his father. With 20 years' experience, Billy brings a thorough understanding of traditional carpentry and roofing to every project.
His skills were broadened further in Canada, where he trained in timber frame construction. Today, that combination of traditional craft and timber frame expertise is applied to cut roofs, timber frame, slating and second fix work for builders, developers and homeowners in Clare, Limerick, Galway and across Ireland.
